Our Mission

The Mission of Manasseh House is to improve the public funded aging out process by setting standards of excellence in self-independence, education, and teaching tradesman in the community and the world.

Manasseh House is diverse and inclusive in keeping young men from returning to a life of uncertainty and resorting to living on the streets. It is a transitional home for young men ages 18-24 who want to bridge to successful employment/educational opportunities. It is a home where young men can feel safe and be mentored with successful life skills, preventing setbacks, or returning to past life circumstances of misfortune.

Our Vision

Manasseh House pushes the boundaries of discovery through education, teaching a trade by networking with communities and apprenticeship programs, and creates hope for those who are searching for self-independence and integrity through leadership.

Together, we will deliver the promise of decreasing the number of young men turning to a life of uncertainty from living on the streets and helping them to become champions of hope for humanity.

Board Members

Sam Vitale

Chairman

Samuel Vitale is President and Managing Partner for Complete Document Solutions. Xerox's largest Sales Agency. He is skilled at establishing operationsl excellence, and planning/executing sales development campaigns designed to improve market share and gross revenue. Sam spent nine years with the 363rd Tactical FIghter Wing, United States Air Force and was among the first squadrons to deploy in Operation Desert Storm. Sam is a member of "The Sicilian Tenors".

Charles "Chuck" Hatter

CEO

Charles "Chuck" Hatter comes to Manasseh House with 36 years in telecommunications. He is a Project Manager, under contract with an agency of the Department of Defense. Previously, he served in senior positions with General Dynamics Company, L-3 Communications and Southwestern Bell Communications. Chuck brings leadership skills, strategic planning and accountability to Manasseh House.

Gianna Talone-Sullivan, Pharm D.

Foundress, Director of Strategic Partnerships and Secretary

For over 30 years, Dr. Gianna Talone-Sullivan, Pharm D. has held positions of authority and practiced in Clinical Pharmacy Operations at both hospitals and outpatient clinics. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry from Arizona State University. She is Board Certified in Arizona, California, Maryland and Pennsylvania. Gianna spent extensive time on following young men who age out of a publicly funded program. For most, it is a life of poverty and uncertainty. Armed with an unwavering conviction to change the future for these young men, she founded Manasseh House, Inc., a nonprofit organization. Dr. Sullivan also serves as the Foundress for 24 years of the national nonprofit organization Mission of Mercy, Inc., which provides free medical, prescription and dental care to the less fortunate.

Christopher Winans

Treasurer

Christopher Winans come to Manasseh House as a federally licensed tax professional. He is the President of FIdelis Tax and Accounting in Annapolis, MD, a comprehensive tax planning and accounting firm. He is also a certified flight paramedic and a sworn Maryland State Trooper at Andrew's Air Force Base, as well as an accomplished course content developer. Chris is fluent in English and Spanish.

Matthew Terpstra

Director of Program Development & Social Media

Matthew Terpstra works as a Social Insurance Specialist for the Social Security Administration with a focus on the Supplemental Security Income program. He brings a diverse background of working with various social service agencies at both the Federal and Private levels. Previously, he was a Caseworker with Dauphin County Social Services for Children and Youth, and a youth counselor for court adjudicated youth at Bowling Brook Preparatory School.

Cary Plamondon, Esq

Board Member

Cary Plamondon obtained her JD Law degree from New York University School of Law. She has worked in Corporate, White Collar Defense and Health Care Departments and has been an alumni interviewer for Darmouth College for the past 30 years. Cary is a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), an ambassador for the Mental Health Association and serves on the Catholic Charities Esperanza Center in Immigration Law, SIJS cases.

Glen Clusman

Board Member

Glen Clusman comes to Manasseh House with 28 years in the automotive industry. He did cosmetic repairs and was promoted to a fleet manager where he trained a new associates and oversaw the daily operations. In 1997, he started his own company Professional Auto Restoration, Inc. and has been very successful. Glen has trained dozens ofpeople in this work field along with other skills relating towork ethics, communication and problem solving. His management style is "Team Oriented". He is an excellent golfer and Chairs our Classic Golf Tournament.

Jon-Thomas Vitale

Marketing Materials

Jon-Thomas, JT, is Vice President, Solutions at Complete Document Solutions, Xerox's largest Sales Agency. He develops and promotes Manasseh House materials and is a mentor for Manasseh House Participants. He is also the developer of the Manasseh House Website. JT was an Officer in the United States Air Force.
